We're sorry, but there's no news about "List of journals and magazines relating to birding and ornithology" right now. Wilson's book was soon eclipsed by John James Audubon's masterful Birds of America (1827–1838), which contained 435 hand-colored, life-sized engravings. These are very good and recognised courses. Field identifiable marks such as coloured bands, wing tags or dyes enable short-term studies where individual identification is required.
